UPDATE: I’ve added the night photos for the event.
I was fortunate enough to witness the annual 古都飛鳥文化祭 (Koto Asuka Bunkasai) 2018 or Asuka Culture Festival 2018 held at Asuka, Nara Prefecture in Japan. I didn’t plan on this, in fact, I didn’t even know there was a festival. LOL! But at the guesthouse where I was staying for a few days, I met a couple of Hollanders who volunteered for this event. I’m so happy to have watched the entire thing. It was amazing! I want to go there again next year, hopefully!
These still lack the photos from the professional Yamato Taiko Drummers group. I still have to finish editing them. So, I’ll just update this post later when I’m done with those photos.
